미디어 소개 카라(KARA) 정규 3집 “STEP”발매
“STEP”으로 새롭게 인기 몰이에 나선 인기그룹 카라

한류스타 카라가 새 앨범으로 국내에 컴백한다.

카 라가 다음달 6일 정규 3집 음원과 음반을 공개하고 국내 활동에 나선다. 지난 해 미니4집 [점핑JUMPING] 이후 10개월 만에 전격 공개하는 새 앨범이라 카라의 국내컴백만을 기다려온 많은 팬들에게 더욱 큰 궁금증을 유발하고 있다.

일본에서 큰 성공을 거둔 카라는 바쁜 일본활동에도 불구하고 국내에서 새로운 앨범의 신곡을 선보일 무대 준비에 여념이 없다.

타 이틀곡으로 선정된 “STEP” 은 한재호,김승수 콤비 스윗튠의 곡으로 Rock&Electronica가 절묘하게 접목된 강력하고 세련된 신스 팝 넘버이다. 리듬을 자유자재로 사용하면서도 절제도 적절히 되어있는 테마사운드는 최신 트랜드를 주도할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 화사한 색감이 눈앞에서 펼쳐지는 듯 즐겁고도 강렬한 사운드 안에서 한층 성숙해진 카라의 다섯 목소리가 반가운 곡이다.

또한 적지 않은 기간 활동하며 다져진 원숙함과 그 동안 보여주지 못했던 멤버들의 숨은 노력이 빛을 발하며 카라의 전매특허와도 같은 달콤한 음색으로 어떤 어려움이라도 이겨내고 앞으로 나아가자며 손짓하는, 기분 좋은 "카라표 팝"이다.

내 달 6일 자정 음원 공개와 6일 음반이 발매되는 이번 새 앨범은 오는 25일부터 한정판(메이킹 사진 별도 수록)의 예약판매가 시작되며 일반판 발매는 내달 8일 개시된다. 한정판을 구매하는 팬들을 대상으로 100여 명을 추첨해 내달 14일에 열리는 쇼케이스에 초청하는 특별한 이벤트로 카라의 컴백을 기다려 준 팬들에게 고마움을 전하는 뜻 깊은 자리도 마련된다.

한편, 카라는 음원 발표 후 추석이 지난 내달 중순 본격적인 방송 활동에도 돌입할 계획이다.
